The Window at the Watchtower

Posted by
Bob (Bolivar, United States) on 30 March 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This window overlooks the Grand Canyon and has a very fitting quote etched in it:

"Do nothing to mar its grandeur for the ages have been at work on it and man cannot improve it. Keep it for your children, your children's children, and all who come after you.

Theodore Roosevelt"

Hello, bonjour, hola, Hallo, Hej, verwelkoming, dia duit, ciao, привет, merhaba... Greetings to all!

Currently, my posts are generally in the order I took them. I am starting with some of the first attempts of 'quality'or 'artistic' photographs I took back in about 1991 when I realized I like taking pictures. Obviously those early photographs were taken with older equipement and as I get more and more pics uploaded the quality / compisition should improve.

I am a photography hobbyist and love to take pictures. I find that the more pictures I take, the more artistic I want to be with my photography skills.

Input and constructive criticism is welcome.

Thanks for stopping by!
